I've been teaching for 8 years. This will be my third year teaching at PJH. Before teaching English at Placerita, I taught 5th grade and 8th grade history for 5 years at a private school.

I earned my M.A. degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of LaVerne and earned by B.A. degree from Cal State University Northridge. Having this degree allows me to fill-in for our Assistant Principals at Placerita when they are gone.

One of my jobs outside of teaching is being the editor for PetMe! Magazine, and I also write the feature articles for the magazine as well as taking cover photos and photos for the articles I write. I write for PetMe! because I love animals and have been doing animal rescue for the past 12 years. I rescue dogs, foster them, and find them homes during the school year. I have two dogs of my own, Otis and Stella. I also just recently found a home for my rescue dog, Penny. I had her for almost a year because she was in really bad shape when I found her and it took that long to get her healthy again.
